I didn't take pictures at the time, but I re-created it at home. Here's what I used to cap my hole cards this past weekend:
Last Saturday after a quick trip to Home Depot to check out cabinets and countertops samples for renovating our kitchen, Joanna and I played some poker with a hundred or so of our friends and acquaintences. While our results weren't quite as good as they had been in the past, I learned a few things about my live table game. Not the least of which was this obvious tell: After calling a re-raise with a set of kings on the turn,
I can't stop my hand from shaking. I couldn't hide it by riffling chips. Not so smooth. Mike Caro could have used my picture for the "shakes uncontrollably" diagram in his
book. No one called my bet on the river and the whole table had a good laugh.
I brought the baby tabasco bottle to use as a card protector, but it was too light and kept rolling away. The Corian sample tile was in my pocket from Home Depot, so I put it to use on the table. BTW, that's probably what we'll use for our kitchen.
